Functional training helps provide you with

Functional training attempts to adapt or develop exercises which allow individuals to perform the activities of daily life more easily and without injuries.

You Will Work With A Professional Trainer On A Program Designed Specifically For You And Your Goals.

You will work on 3 key aspects of fitness: Mobility and flexibility, Cardiovascular training, and Resistance or Strength training. We are a “posture” based functional fitness program, meaning we want YOU moving well with perfect posture. Each program is tailored to your own ability taking into account your age, any limitations or injuries you may have, previous exercise history, and your current starting fitness level.     As someone who has scoliosis and experienced back pain, I have learned firsthand how much of a difference exercise, yoga and chiropractic care can make in a healthy, balanced life. Are you ready to get out of pain, sleep better and live a healthier happier life? Keeping your goals, injuries and conditions in mind, I will teach you self-massage, stretching, breathing and exercises customized for your body. I will use both my personal training and yoga experience to help you develop flexibility, core stability, balance, strength and awareness.

    I fully believe in the therapeutic value of yoga and its positive effect to one’s body, mind and spirit. I have been fortunate enough to provide support to military, cancer survivors, and those afflicted with Parkinsons disease. I am experienced in Gentle, Adaptive, Prenatal, Meditative and Restorative yoga practices. My integration of yoga techniques lets me teach and provide support at multiple levels. Expect challenging poses, modification options, and alignment support. Combined with my upbeat personality and physical fitness experience, I provide encouragement and guidance to individuals in a challenging and nurturing environment. I look forward to meeting you!
